Day three of the World Deaf Futsal Championship: Unpredictable outcomes and the most vivid emotions
On the third day of the World Deaf Futsal Championship in Kazakhstan we saw an increase in intensity, with the unpredictable nature of the matches during the tournament becoming a significant feature of the event. Each team’s encounter turned into a true contest, with players seeking not only victory but also a lasting legacy in the history of this tournament. Reminder that the event is taking place from June 1st to June 10th at the “Zhekpe-Zhek” sports complex in the capital city.
The third day of the competition began with a match between Thailand and Uzbekistan. At the last minute of the first half of the match, the Thai team managed to score the first goal and open the scoring of the game. Leading 2-1, the Thai side managed to score a goal and take the lead. However, in the second half of the game, things took a drastic turn.
The Uzbekistan team suddenly took the initiative by successfully attacking and making precise passes with the ball. Within three minutes, they managed to score four goals, reversing the scoreline and concluding the match with a victory of 4-6. As in the previous match with Iran, the Thai team led confidently, but during the game, the opponents took the lead, bringing the Uzbek team a well-deserved victory and leaving the Thai players unsatisfied after such an unexpected outcome.
Ukraine Secures Victory Over Oman
Today, Ukraine defeated Oman. In the final eight minutes of the game, the Ukrainian side scored the first goal and three minutes till the end of the first half, scored more points for their team. During the first half, the Ukrainians took the lead and maintained their greatness throughout the rest of the period.
In the second half of the game, Oman although managed to score one goal, the Ukrainian squad continued their lead and ultimately defeated their opponents 4-2, thus securing a victory. Despite Oman’s best efforts, the team was unable to close the gap between them and the Ukrainian side, eventually resulting in their second setback in this tournament.
Iran triumphs again
Today, Iran was able to demonstrate their best. In less than a minute they opened the scoring and earned 6 goals during the first half of the game, leading the opposing team. In the second half, they continued to move confidently towards victory, score goals almost around 2 minutes. So, the match was concluded 1-14.
Hat-trick by Kazakh team in the World Championship
So, the third day of the World Deaf Futsal Championship was completed by the face off
of the Kazakh and Saudi Arabian team. Previously, both of the teams have won
all of their games in the last two days. Two powerful teams demonstrated their full potential once again. But luck was on
Kazakhstan’s side today. Consequently, the game ended with the score 5-3 in favor of our national team.
